Open an order in ProABD, click once, and InvoiceLane builds the invoice for you in a new tab — order number, vehicles, price and the pickup and delivery details already filled in from the page you are looking at.

Your company name, address, phone, logo and payment methods are saved once in settings and reused on every invoice after that. If the invoice needs to go to a different party, switch the bill-to between pickup, delivery and shipper right on the invoice, without starting over.

Nothing is final until you say so

The invoice opens as its own page before anything is printed, and every part of it can be corrected right there — a name, an address, a price, a line description, the invoice number itself. That matters because the alternative is editing the order in ProABD just to make one invoice read correctly, then remembering to change it back. A one-off adjustment stays on the invoice, and the order stays as it is.

When it looks right, print it or save it as a PDF straight from your browser. It saves as Invoice 12345.pdf, using the invoice number, so filing it is a matter of picking a folder rather than retyping a name. Correct the invoice number on the page and the file name follows it.

An invoice you have sent is money you are waiting for. With an InvoiceLane licence, the Copy to CollectLane button on the invoice copies it as one row — invoice number, who you billed, the date and the amount — ready to paste into CollectLane, the Google Sheet that emails you every morning with the invoices still unpaid.

  3. In CollectLane, click the Invoice # cell of an empty row and paste. The sheet fills in the payment terms and the due date from that customer’s settings.

It copies what is on the invoice, so a number or an amount you corrected is the one that lands in the sheet. Nothing is uploaded: the row goes to your clipboard, and you paste it.

Which pages does InvoiceLane work on?
ProABD order detail pages, and nothing else. The button appears when you open an order in ProABD; on every other site the extension does nothing at all. InvoiceLane is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to ProABD.
What happens when ProABD changes their page?
InvoiceLane checks dispatch.tools once a day for an updated copy of the rules it uses to read an order page. When ProABD changes something, the fix is a change on our side that reaches you within a day — not a Chrome Web Store resubmission you would wait in a review queue for. If our site is unreachable, the extension falls back to the rules bundled inside it and carries on working.
Do my orders or customers leave my computer?
No. InvoiceLane reads the order page you already have open and builds the invoice in your browser. Your company details and settings are kept in Chrome's own storage. It has no account and no server to send anything to. The one request it makes is the daily download of those page-reading rules from dispatch.tools. That request carries no order data, though our web server logs its IP address the way any website logs a visit. Note too that your company details and licence key are stored in Chrome's synced storage, so Chrome copies them between your own devices through your Google account — they never come to us.
What is different about the free version?
Two things, and neither of them changes the invoice. The free version prints a small InvoiceLane credit at the foot of each invoice, and its Copy to CollectLane button does not copy. A licence removes the credit and turns the button on. Every field is filled in the same way either way, and an invoice made with the free version is a real invoice you can send to a customer.
How does Copy to CollectLane work?
CollectLane is our Google Sheet for keeping track of unpaid invoices. It emails you every morning with the invoices that are due or overdue, grouped by who pays, and it is sold separately. With an InvoiceLane licence, the Copy to CollectLane button copies the invoice as one row: the invoice number, who you billed, the invoice date, the amount and the status Sent. Click the Invoice # cell of an empty row in CollectLane and paste. The sheet fills in the payment terms and the due date from that customer's settings, and from then on the invoice is in your morning email until you mark it paid. The row only goes to your clipboard. InvoiceLane does not connect to your Google account and sends nothing anywhere.

Can I use one licence on more than one computer?
Yes. The licence is issued to you, not locked to a machine. Because the key is kept in Chrome's synced storage, activating it in one Chrome profile carries across to the others you are signed into, and you can paste it in by hand anywhere else you work.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no dashboard. You install the extension, put your company details in once, and it works. Buying a licence gives you a key by email that you paste into the extension's settings.
How do I install it?
Install it from the Chrome Web Store, then open any ProABD order and the button is there. The first time it runs it opens its settings page so you can put in your company name, address and payment methods — those are saved once and reused on every invoice after that.
